Swingset Construction...

Jimmy, Grandpop, Ethan, and Uncle Tommy have been busy...it turns out putting a swing set together is NOT simple...especially when your yard is not level! Lucky me...I only had to order it! Ethan was soo excited to "help" out. He put almost as many hours into it as Jimmy...I think the final hour count was in the 20's. Daphne is thrilled and is known to yell "higher" at all times on the swings! She has turned out to be quite the dare devil...I thought only one child per family was supposed to be like this...I guess monkey see monkey do...and now she is MORE daring than our first monkey!

Big Girl...

Daphne has recently realized that she CAN climb OUT of her crib...now she has a toddler bed... unfortunately we find her ROAMING around often! We just can't keep her in one place. She can quickly and quietly out smart all child proofing! (Yes, she has evenly mastered overly tightened 5 point harnesses in car seats & strollers---and she doesn't even have to undo the latches---she basicly subluxes her shoulders to free her arms then uses her trememdous upper body strength to lift out the rest of her body!) I think we will set up an audition for the circus!

Happy Anniversary, Honey!

Jimmy and I enjoyed a night out to the Kimberton Inn to celebrate our 9 year wedding anniversary. Jimmy is an amazing husband and father and I am soo lucky that he is mine! Thanks Grandmom & Grandpop for taking the kids!

23 Months...

BFR 2011

We enjoyed yet another annual family reunion...horseshoe tournament and all. It is wonderful to have everyone together for catching up, yummy food, and games! Trisha once again designed fabulous shirts!

To top it all off...the exciting news...Trisha & Jon are expecting TWINS!!

Happy Mother's Day

I had a fabulous Mother's Day weekend...spoiled with a day at OCNJ....we had perfect weather for strolling the boardwalk; eating Mack N Manco pizza, Shriver's salt water taffy, and polish water ice; and of course playing on the beach. (The kids did not dig the shopping...which was quite unfortunate as there were deals to be had...I wonder just how much Jimmy bribed them!)

I am soo blessed with having the opportunity to "mother" 2 wonderful children. It has been quite the learning experience so far and I look forward to all our adventures the future holds. I've also realized all the energy, emotion, strength and wisdom it takes to be a good Mom and I continue to be greatful for having such a wonder Mumzie and mother-in-law to look up to.
