SpiderMISS...

Caught in the act... No fear...Daphne will climb great heights...nothing will stop her from swiping gum drops...or anything else she is trying to explore.

T'was the night before Christmas...

We spent Christmas Eve celebrating with Jimmy's side of the family. It sure is handy that they live across the street from church...as it was packed...we arrived almost an hour before mass in order to get seats! Ethan & Jimmy didn't make it through the service... Daphne was fascinated by the prayer bench and managed to otherwise keep herself occupied with exchanging hugs & kisses with Harrison! (They are adorable...we just have to remind them that they are cousins!)
Then we were off to nosh on munchies & open gifts! We feel like kids again as Mom & Dad have brouhgt us up to the 21st century with a surprise Wii... Jimmy is pulling muscles left & right ;-) I am beginning to regret that we used candy canes as ornaments this year as Daphne now "tastes" all ornaments...luckily she was not able to chew through Grandmom's glass balls. And one of our goals for 2011 is to have a family portrait where everyone is looking & cooperating!

"Get out of the TREE!"...

Who would have thought that I would ever have to say those words...I am not sure how Ethan managed to squeeze himself INTO the decorative tree...but I had to lift it off the base in order to get him out!

"All Aboard"...

Yes, Congratulations Daphne! Her first two word sentence!! In December we were delighted to fit in 2 train rides. We coasted on the tracks of the Ivy Land New Hope North Pole Express ... where we received hot chocolate and cookies. (Since it was not the Polar Express we held off on the pj's...but hope to someday go to New Hampshire...) Gramzie Ladybug & Leepa shared the adventure with us. Then we went on the Strassburg Railroad on the coach cars for a scenic ride... along with Harris, Mark, Lisa & Tommy. We just can't seem to get enough with trains... Ethan is following along in Grampa Charlie's & Grandpop's footsteps!

Santa Clause is coming to town...

We were looking forward to Santa's visit... my neighbor commented that he could see Ethan's excitement from a block away... as Ethan was literally bouncing for joy in the driveway!
