Double 3's...

That time of year has seemed to quickly return...I was happy to celebrate my b-day with a special night out with my dear husband at none other than The Cheesecake Factory.

Fire Prevention Month...

We had the opportunity to "Meet the Trucks" at the local Library in honor of fire prevention month. The kids were able to explore the fire engine and truck and check out the gear. As well as receiving educational information. My luck, one of the firemen thought I should dress up too! I must say I was quite amazed at the weight of the gear...I am not sure how they are able to move around in it while performing their job!

Halloween Party...

Ethan attended his first childrens Halloween Party at my friend Jenn's House. She did an amazing job with timed activity stations. There was elaborate cupcake decorating, face painting, pumpkin painting, pumpkin craft, apple bobbing, playtime outdoors, and holiday story time followed by an awesome scavenger hunt! I can't imagine all the prep work that went into preparing for this event! Ethan had a great time!

My Engineers...

If you have a problem, ETHAN can fix it...or so he tries... Ethan is an eager little helper. He just loves "assisting" with anything that needs to be done. Just watch out...he likes to do it his way...oppsie gets that from me! Not to mention he NEEDS to wear his boots and hard hat lately everytime we go outside! (and when Jimmy is home, Ethan insists on the same attire for him!)

Fall Fest...

We tried to get a head start on Halloween this year...we enjoyed a nice fall afternoon by heading just around the bend for a hayride, cornmaze and to pick out our pumpkins...at "The Farmer's Daughter"--yes, that is the REAL name of the place! Ethan loved the hay jump and baby animals as well. The variety of gourds to choose from was outstanding...I should have taken photos of all the unique ones...opps!

Bike Riding...

Now that Daphne has her very own set of wheels we needed to try them out. She just loves doing anything that Ethan does! She managed to wear herself out and needed to take a nap on the way home!

Happy Birthday, little ladybug!

Daphne had quite the celebration...Starting on the eve of her first b-day she had cake; Presents to start the day on her b-day; then having a family party over the weekend...a little spoiled to say the least!
