The last 10 days...

Ethan continues to keep me on my toes...hence not very many blog posts...so here are just a few silly moments of the past week or so...

Morning Recess...

With the terribly cold weather we have been experiencing Ethan has been a bit of a hermit...which puts a total cramp in his outdoor love of nature...now that there is still snow on the ground we bundled up to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to play outside!

"Dashing through the snow..."

Jimmy was Ethan's "...one horse open sleigh..." while I was unfortunately at work...I hope to catch the next sleigh ride in person! As the story goes...Jimmy reports Ethan would have nothing to do with his gloves however wearing DaDa's went over well. We were delighted to finally have enough snow to try out Ethan's sled from GrandMom & GrandPop...the verdict--a hit!! We are keeping our fingers crossed for many more snow falls...New England please send us some of your snow!!

Cracker Tasting...

Independent little Ethan knows just where the snack cabinet is located...he loves to just help himself and prefers to use the floor as his table...and when he is finished he sweeps the leftovers under the dishwasher for me!! He sure keeps me on my toes...at least he has enough manners to offer me a cracker too!!

Bye Bye Mullet...

Ethan had his first hair cut this past weekend...it took both Jimmy & myself...the back is pretty straight however the sides have a few chunks missing as our little one absolutely would not sit still for a hair cut...so we had to do it on the move...luckily no tears nor screaming...with over an inch taken from the back Ethan is looking older with his new do...Unfortunately we do not have any action photos of this task...as all of our hands were quite busy with cutting and restraining...

Ethan occupied himself at GrandMom & GrandPop's by cleaning out a basket for a custom seat!

13 Months...

My little boy is growing like a weed...he is quite a little spit fire...I wonder where that comes from?! Ethan's "skilz" continue to amaze us...his new favorite word is "momo" for Elmo; he loves to talk on his phone, giraffe, or anything else he holds up to his ear; and of course he is constantly busy! Ethan's 9th tooth has surfaced...there may be a few more close behind...as only a crazy person would stick their fingers in his mouth as he unfortunately loves to bite!

Smores anyone?!...

We are celebrating into the new year with our first smores night with Jimmy's new firepit (we finally got around to getting him his father's day present!) Despite the chilly weather our families joined us for the firepit debute...we are hoping some of that New England snow comes our way!! Hopefully I will get Tiff's photos on here instead as hers are better quality!
