2 + 2 = 4...

Yes...Ethan now has 4 toothies...2 on the bottom and now one top and side tooth...with others close behind...this would explain all of our sleepless nights...teething has been quite the process for us! (Just 16 to go right?!)
Thank goodness for our recent discovery of teething biscuits! (Although they are awfully messy!)

An Ethan Update...

Ethan is keeping me on my toes and away from blogging...as he is now getting into everything! He has really taken off to crawling, now he is pulling up to stand and cruising as well...so the baby proofing saga continues...just when we thought we were there we realize that he is able to get into something new...we are starting to think that we must finish the basement so he has a playroom all his own! His new claim to fame is doing a 360 over and over again on his bum while waving his hand in the air and chanting...quite adorable I must say...he sure does keep us entertained!

Our Little Fashion Plate...

We are a wee bit belated on posting this...as Meghan has spoiled Ethan with yet another one of her fashion creations...Thanks Meghan!

Action Packed...

The last few days have been filled with fun times...our friends/Boston family Holly, Joey & Ryan came down for a visit. (We dearly miss hanging out with them as we spent the majority of our time with them when we lived in Boston!) We hit the Philadelphia Zoo, the local park, swimming at Grandmom & Grandpop's & visited with Lisa, Mark & Harrison on their quick visit to PA!

Just hangin' out...

Our house transformed into an indoor playground...does Jimmy really fit in the tunnel?! Ethan is going to miss playing with his buddy Ryan!

Swimming...

We made a stop at Grandmom & Grandpop's to swim and visit with Lisa, Mark, & Harris...(and of course the rest of the family too!)

The Park...

Ethan's first time to a park was fun for all...I am beginning to think that we began a family so that JIMMY could go and play at the park!!

Lions, and Tigers, and Bears...

and quite alot of other mammals and reptiles too! We visited the Philadelphia Zoo and can't wait to go back! (And I must say Holly & I have EXCELLENT taste as we dressed in the same shirt by accident!)

Church clothes?!...

This was the result when Mommy asked Daddy to get Ethan ready for church...I knew Jimmy was up to something when I heard the snickering on the stairs...this may be the last time Daddy gets to dress Ethan. Ethan didn't actually end up wearing this since Mommy didn't approve!

8 Months old...

Ethan continues to grow before our eyes...we can't believe it has been 8 months already!! Just a recap of what Ethan is up to...Ethan has been sitting independently, can transition from his stomach to sitting and from his back to sitting, is able to pass a ball back and forth, has started to crawl, is starting to pull to standing, & walks short distances with double upper extremity support. He continues to eat well and has tried solids that are not pureed...such as Mack & Manco Pizza crust, and bread...He loves drinking water from a straw like a little bird! (especially when it is from a grown up cup!) He is learning to stand by the door and wave bye bye and knock knock.

Milestone Reached...

Ethan is now crawling...just shy of being 8 months old! Life just became much harder...we have quite a few things that we need to pack up and maybe take back out in a few years...He is getting into everything...and of course Mom & Dad's things are much more interesting than his own.
